Offender Bulk search
Unfortunately, there is not a single national database for sex offenders. The NSOPW site is essentially a search engine that interfaces with the various state, tribal and territory sex offender registry databases when a search is run – usually via web services. There is also no published API to allow searches to be done programmatically.
Names cannot be checked in batch because when a search results in a hit, users need to click on the offender name and go to the jurisdictions site to view the details on that particular offender to determine if it is really the person they are searching for.
